Sushi Bistro

We wanted to check out something new around the area, and looked up sushi restaurants on Yelp. We decided to check out Sushi Bistro near the Clement area. I totally love sushi places that have interesting-adventurous combinations of ingredients. And this place is totally that kind of place! I enjoyed three out of four specialty rolls, and I would come back here again!

B* Star

B*Star is the sister restaurant of Burma Superstar, located a block away. At first I thought the menus would be similar, but it's quite different. B*Star is more an asian-fusion restaurant. I decided to be adventurous and ordered the Green Curry Salmon Pot Pie. It was not that bad, but it is indeed a weird combination. I prefer my traditional dishes after eating that. My friend ordered the vegetarian cold spicy noodle. It was good, but tasted average.

I would recommend sticking to Burma Superstar. Way better and worth the wait. Unless you're really into Asian Fusion style dishes, B*Star might well be worth the try!

Ana Mandera

Be warned. Ana Mandera is not cheap. Be prepared to spend on this one. This restaurant is basically The Fanciest Vietnamese Restaurant I've ever been to. And it is DELICIOUS. It is not necessarily traditional Vietnamese cuisine, but more of Vietnamese-French fusion. I particularly enjoyed my dish, which was the roasted duck with green beans. My friend had the fish of the day served on top of ratatouille, which was also delicious. I highly recommend this place, but save it for special occassions or special dates =).

This is the crab soup, which was also delicious!

House of Prime Ribs

A MUST if you live in San Francisco! If you like meat, then this is the place for you! A bit over the $25-30 tag, yet it is so worth it! I am not that big of a fan of prime ribs, but this place is really fantastic! Order the King Henry's if you are starving. Great with red wine!
